Vinod Khosla is an Indian American engineer and businessman.

Born in 1955 in Delhi, India.

He gained a degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.

He then moved to the US to obtain a masters in biomedical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a masters from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1980.

Khosla started SUN Microsystems before leaving to become a venture capitalist.

He founded Khosla Ventures, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm, and a member of the 2018 Midas List.

His firm manages over 1 billion dollars capital along with investments that are financed by Khosla.

His firm, Khosla Ventures, invests in experimental technologies such as biomedicine and robotics.

Ranked among Forbes magazine’s list of 400 richest people of America, Vinod Khosla is a proud bearer of many other accomplishments and awards.

In 1999, he was a finalist for the World Technology Award. He also served as the Honorary Chair of the ‘DonorsChoose’ San Francisco Bay Area Advisory Board.
